Electronic System for Travel Authorization for Visa Waiver Travelers. 

Individuals from countries with Visa Waiver Program (VWP) are allowed to come into the United States for 90 days without a visa.  The US Homeland Security is implementing the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) systems for VWP travelers.  Although it is not mandatory at this time, individual travelers are advised to use the Electronic Systems for Travel Authorization systems now in its travel to the US.  Eventually ESTA will be required for all VWP travelers, mostly likely beginning in January 2009.
